Oven Knobs

They are either at the top of the burner or below; it depends on the design. If the knob is located above the burner, they easily get stained by food oil or grease from the cooking pot.

Also if the oven knobs are below the burner, it will gather dirt from the food crumbs that drop while cooking or dust.

The first thing to do when cleaning the knob is to remove them. Some brands make the knob easily detachable by simply unscrewing it till it comes out.

However, you may experience some difficulties in removing the knobs if they are too dirty and greasy. Thus, pulling hard might be the only way to detach them.

Secondly, soak the knobs in clean water and add some liquid soap or detergent, whichever one you prefer.

To effectively clean the drawer beneath your oven, you must remove all the items kept there such as cutleries, cooking pots, fry pans, etc. Then pull out the drawer for easy access as you can’t clean all the edges while they’re still in.

Use a soapy towel to wipe the drawer, both inside and outside the drawer. Scrub with a sponge if you sight any tough and sticky stains – it could be hardened food particles, grime, or grease. While scrubbing, you can spray on an active surface cleaner to break the tough stains.
